Copying entities

When you do a copy and paste of an entity in DeZign for Databases, a copy of the entity is made and a new entity is created with the same attributes. This new entity will automatically get a unique name (for example "CUSTOMERS1").

To "copy" an entity from one subdiagram to another subdiagram (within the same project), use the Add/Remove objects menu in the diagrams menu. Only a new "entity box" will be created when you "add" an entity to a subdiagram.

To copy an entity in a project to a new project, use the "Insert entities from existing project..." menu in the "Dictionary" menu.
